What is an "Ashi Dashi"

Ashi Dashi is a sort of nonsensical japanese phrase that roughly means "expose your feet" or "stick out your foot"

Why a Japanese name then?

The company has a Japanese name and uses American resources—a sort of reflection of my heritage. My mother is a wonderful Japanese lady and my Father is a good, wholesome, hardworking mid-west American.

Where are your socks made?

AshiDashi is very proud to support American businesses and the American workforce. Everything from the little plastic hooks that hang our socks on a rack to the socks themselves are made here in The States. We've gone out of our way to find the perfect manufactures who support local economies, and we're very excited to say MADE IN THE USA.

Where can I buy AshiDashi?

Right now, We do most of our business online. But we have a few awesome boutiques that are carrying our line.

Our socks are mostly limited editions, with new designs and styles coming out all the time, so please feel free to join our mailing list, follow us on twitter, or just check back often and see what we have cooking. Most of our socks are made in small runs and sell out fairly quickly so snatch 'em up while you can.

How will I know when new socks come out?

Easy! Join our mailing list or better yet, follow us on twitter, and we'll send you polite updates now and again as new products make it into our family.
